About Alyn Beals

Alyn joined the Board of Directors of the Chamber in 1994, and has served the Chamber in a wide variety of positions since then. He was named Person of the Year in 1997, and was previously Chairman of the Board in 2001. He currently Co-Chairs the Kainos Benefit Golf and Invitational Golf Tournaments, and is M.C. of Good Morning Redwood City. He moved to Redwood City in 1949, and has lived or worked in Redwood City ever since. He is a graduate of Lincoln and McKinley Schools (where his athletic career peaked with the winning of R.C.'s Mr. Football Champ for 7th grade in 1959), and Sequoia High School in 1965. If you've ever attended Good Morning Redwood City, you know Alyn holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Santa Clara. He is President and CEO of Beals Martin, a Redwood City based General Contractor, Developer and Property Manager, which he helped form in 1973. His hobbies are wine, golf, doting on his 2 grandchildren, and trying to catch up with the love of his life, Dani Gasparini.
