Vote Yes On Measure Q

REDWOOD CITY, CA - October 6, 2004 ­

Measure Q will convert the underutilized industrial area at Peninsula Marina into a waterfront community of much-needed residential housing, neighborhood businesses, marinas, public parks and open space called Marina Shores Village.

Marina Shores Village will bring more than 250 benefits and improvements to the quality of life in Redwood City--at no cost to businesses or taxpayers. These include: 6.8 acres of new public parks and open space, $10 million for traffic improvements, 10 acres of new bay wetlands, over $14 million per year in new tax revenue for city services, and critically needed affordable housing. It also provides jobs and new commercial opportunities for business owners.
