Chamber Hits 167

The Membership Drive Winning Team

REDWOOD CITY, CA - March 7, 2003 - A very successful membership drive campaign for the Redwood City-San Mateo County Chamber of Commerce ended last night with 167 new members and a gala party at the San Mateo County History Museum hosted by the Hannig Law Firm, in conjunction with their firms 5 year anniversary.

In recognizing the new Chamber members Chairman of the Board, Rosanne Foust, thanked all the hardworking drive volunteers and said "An effective organization is one that constantly evolves and isn't afraid to grow."

Foust turned the mic over to drive co-chair Dani Gasparini who expressed her appreciation to all the drive volunteers and particularly to drive captains, Keith Bautista, DES Architects, Ted Hannig, Hannig Law Firm, JoAnn Kemist, Sequoia Hospital, Gino Gasparini and Chuy Aranda, BFI, Memo Morantes, Morantes Insurance, Jim Massey, Bancroft & Masters, Cheryl Angeles, Saf Keep Storage, Pat Webb, City of Redwood City, Catherine Fraser, Bernard Hodes, Dani Gasparini and Frank Bartaldo, Bay Area Bank, Alyn Beals, Beals Martin and the Winning Drive Team Rosanne Foust, Alsace Development International, John Adams, Wells Fargo and Jim Hartnett, Hartnett, Smith & Associates.

In closing Foust reiterated her primary objectives for the Chamber are Advocacy, Networking and Information. A growing membership means that the Chamber will continue to be a force in the community and its advocacy role will be strengthened. What better testimonial is it when those promoting the organization are current members volunteering their time and energy to the overall success of the organization.
