Chamber of Commerce 2008 Membership Drive to Benefit the Schools

CHAMBER OF COMMERCE 2008 MEMBERSHIP DRIVE TO BENEFIT THE SCHOOLS

The Redwood City-San Mateo County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, in response to the Governor¹s budget crisis effecting education, has decided to donate $25. from each new member who joins between April 1st June 30th, 2008. to the schools. Each Chamber volunteer will be able to sign up new members while benefiting education by designating the school or educational foundation of their choice.

Chamber Chairman of the Board, Jeff Gee, said ³Given the economic crisis facing California and our schools, we have developed a new and unique membership drive concept that reinforces the Chamber¹s commitment to our community.²
