Supported mixed-use project at 1000 El Camino Real in San Carlos. It combines 8,250 square feet, of ground floor commercial space along Laurel Street and El Camino with 100 apartment units on 3 upper floors. Apartments offered are a mix of 8 studios, 43 one bedroom and 49 two bedroom units. Approximately 15% will be set aside for families classified as low/moderate income households. The project is proposed by JMS Development in partnership with the Matteson Companies.
Supported AB 328, Assemblyman Gene Mullin's bill that would guarantee the pass through of all special education federal funding increases to school agencies.
Supported AB 1326, Assemblyman Joe Simitian's bill, that would enable San Mateo County's Child Care stakeholders to create a County Child Care Program tailored to meet the needs, conditions and priorities of families struggling with San Mateo County's high costs.
