Congratulations Leadership Redwood City-Belmont-San Carlos
2004-2005 Graduating Class!

Something In Common

REDWOOD CITY, CA - June 6, 2005 What do Ruben Barrales, Rich Gordon, Ira Ruskin, Barbara Pierce, Ian Bain, Gerry Kohlmann, Alicia Aquirre, Keith Bautista, Pat Becker, Gino and Dani Gasparini, Andy Frisch, Memo Morantes, Lorianna Kastrop, Rosanne Foust and Steve Smith have in common?

You have read about most of them in the newspaper and the Chamber newsletter from time to time, because of their leadership in this community and even the broader community. Also, they all just happen to be graduates of Leadership Redwood City/Belmont/San Carlos. Some were in the very first class in 1988.

The Chamber's Leadership Program has extraordinary history of developing leadership throughout San Mateo County. It brings leaders to the forefront with a clearer understanding of San Mateo County and all of the challenges that is faces. Over its 17 year history we have seen over 450 people go through the program and we continue to work with probably 30% of them in some capacity as they have chosen to become involved in the community. An opportunity to join these other community leaders as a Leadership graduate is available to you when the Leadership Class of 2005-2006 begins in September.

The Program runs for 9 months with class dates on the 2nd Friday of each month, from 8:30-3:00pm at different locations. Each day focuses on an area of the community; health care, business, education, public safety, community service, city and county government, transportation and housing and a 2 day retreat.

If you are interested in participating in this program please fill out the Leadership Interest Form below or call the Chamber Office at (650)364-1722.
