2004 Election Results
The Chamber advocated on behalf of the following measures which were
passed by the electorate on election day, November 2, 2004.
Prop. 1A (83.6% Yes Vote) Local Funding Initiative to stop State raids on local services.
Measure A (75% Yes Vote) San Mateo County Half-Cent Sales Tax for transportation.
Measure H (68.7% Yes Vote) Sequoia Union High School District Bond Measure.
The Chamber opposed:
Proposition 72 (50.9% No) Health Care Coverage Requirements.
The following was supported by the Chamber, but failed to pass on election day.
Measure Q (54% No) Marina Shores Village Housing.
The following was supported by the Chamber, but is still undecided.
Measure G Belmont-Redwood Shores Elementary School Parcel Tax
