At our September 13 Hot Topics Workshop, Tyler Paetkau and Jim Hartnett, Hartnett, Smith and Paetkau, Attorneys at Law shared their expertise with members of our Chamber over lunch about the “Top Ten Hot Employment Law Issues for Employers”. The field of employment law is immense, but Tyler and Jim showed that there are ways to help mitigate problems before they arise – following Tyler’s mantra “HR should not be treated as an afterthought.” Hartnett, Smith and Paetkau is a Redwood City Law firm that represents employers in all labor and employment related laws, litigation defense, and trial of employee claims.
